This cable is based on the Prolific PL2303TA USB to Serial Bridge Controller, and designed specifically for quick and easy programming via USB port of the following HYT handheld transceivers: TC-265, TC-268, TC-268S, TC-270, TC-365, TC-366, TC-368, TC-368S, TC-370, TC-380, TC-380M, etc. The power supply is done over the USB interface, following the USB 2.0 specifications. This is not a straight forward cable, there is an internal converter circuit board (interface) mounted in the USB shell. This programming interface cable is completely equal to the HYT PC27 cable, and replaces HYT PC23 serial port programming cable.
