Mapsource 6163 Patched
It's distributed as MapSource_6163.exe. This software download is currently available as version 6.16.3. Compatibility may vary, but generally runs on Microsoft Windows systems. Garmin MapSource has been tested for viruses, please refer to the tests on the 'Virus Tests' page. It is published by Garmin. Well, it installed but deactivated my mapsource and to tell the truth, I am not that impressed by basecamp yet. I was a bit underwhelmed, but then after un-installing all Garmin products and using the above procedure, I then downloaded and installed Mapsource 6163 which as mentioned works fine.
MapSource has been dropped in favor of new Garmin products: Garmin MapSource is software that lets you create, view, and edit waypoints, routes, and tracks on your computer and transfer them to your navigation device for your next trip. It was previously included with DVD/CD versions of our map products. MapSource is no longer included with DVD/CD versions of our maps. Instead, use BaseCamp to view maps and create routes and waypoints for your next hiking, biking, motorcycling, driving or off-roading trip. And for your next boating trip, pair HomePort with your existing BlueChart data and view map details such as underwater hazards and hidden obstacles so you can plan a route to avoid them.
Compability and license Garmin MapSource is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from mapping and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The Garmin MapSource 6.16.3 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the download of the full version. Compatibility with this software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Garmin. This download was signed by Igor Pavlov and distributed as MapSource_6163.exe. Hey Mac, this info rocks m8:) I have been getting nagged lately, since adding some after market maps, so I un-installled and re-installed the way you describe and it works great, thanks. Now, for some info that may help others, I had been using Mapsource, I think it was 6124, and this was fine and worked with my MAP76S. Universal keygen generator. But, I have a new Montana650T arriving soon, so I thought I would install Basecamp and get used to the interface. I then got curious and decided to follow the same procedure using Basecamp and I can now say it was successful and I can have both programs open and running at the same time **note, one of the glaring omissions from Basecamp is the ability to click on a drop down button to select Map Scale which is very annoying as you have to select the magnifying glass and right or left click to step through the scales** Cheers TravellingStrom.
